Start your job searchOur client - one of the world's leading investment firms currently seek a dynamic and driven Compliance Associate to join their organisation in Dublin City Centre. This is an exciting and interesting opportunity for an experienced Compliance Analyst looking to move to an Associate position in a great company with lots of opportunity for growth, development and career opportunities.
Duties will include:
- Assist in a variety of day-to-day matters faced by an in-house compliance group related to a growing and global business, including management of conflicts of interest, documentation of trades between funds, monitoring of non-public information and trading activities and monitoring compliance with anti-money laundering procedures
- Support various business groups, including investment, marketing, accounting, operational and middle office departments
- Reviewing and updating compliance policies
- Updating risk matrices and the risk management framework
- Monitoring and coordinating controls and oversight concerning funds management activities - CP86
- Training design and delivery for Irish teams
- Assist with certain aspects of CBI and other regulatory reporting
The successful candidate will have:
- 3-4 years' experience post-graduation
- A law, business or finance degree
- Experience in a compliance, regulatory, company secretarial or paralegal role, with a
transactional or finance background or in a private equity, hedge fund or other financial
institution environment. - Candidates currently undertaking a programme of study with the Association of Compliance
Officers in Ireland (ACOI) would have a distinct advantage - Knowledge of/ working experience with MAR, MIFID II, AIFMD, UCITS, GDPR and EMIR.
