Job Summary

The purpose of this role is to monitor and report the key financial drivers of the Manufacturing function to the Senior Finance Manager, for presentation to management and to improve financial performance. Responsible for stock reporting, together with variance analysis in Manufacturing, Engineering and Supply chain.

Duties

Duties and tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Improve financial awareness across the target teams.
  • Understand the manufacturing process, explain the consequences to managers of their processes, and improve financial accuracy
  • Work with business analyst, to improve processes to prepare ONT operations to move into large scale production
  • Support the approval of inventory movement journals
  • Reconcile inventory, explain and re code variances.
  • Proactively work with supply chain team, to reduce variances and improve processes
  • Work with operations on improving regular stock takes and standard cost reviews to improve inventory accuracy
  • Assist in preparation of the year end accounts
