Brand new credit control opportunity within a well-established Business with a national presence
They currently have an excellent opening for an experienced Credit Controller to join their Finance Department. This company has a long and impressive history, as well as, a reputation for strong staff retention. Working in a modern open plan office this well rounded position will provide a good level of autonomy.
Daily exposure will involve:
- To provide a first-class service to internal and external clients whilst following credit control policy sufficiently at all times
- Chasing overdue payments via email phone and letter
- Managing a multimillion pound sales ledger with key clients
- Identify and escalate potentially high risk accounts
- Raises invoices and credit notes
- Solving of invoice queries efficiently and in line with customer expectations
- Allocating petty cash and bank reconciliations
- Managing and aliasing with key stakeholders
- Working toward set KPI's
You'll be a great team player, will have excellent interpersonal skills, and will have some good accounting software experience including Excel and will be able to pick up new systems quickly.
