Mark Sattin have been mandated by a global consultancy firm to source economic advisory managers to provide critical assistance to deliver economic assignments. They will work closely with the team and across the business to deliver this. This work is focused on the whole of Ireland.

This global consultancy has expanded rapidly over the last few months and this trend is set continue. They are aiming to expand on existing offerings and find solutions to the major challenges that Ireland is facing from the uncertain global economy, Brexit, property costs and a grave burden placed on public services and structure.

They offer a wide variety of work across the public and private sector to provide on their vision for a successful and sustainable future.

Successful applicants will work across a range of economic areas including; policy evaluation, impact assessment, forecasting, sectoral analysis and strategy.

To be considered for this position:

  • You will be analytical and highly numeric graduate coming from an economics, finance, business or related background
  • Have a minimum of 5 years work experience in an economics or similar role
  • Experience of applying economic theory in a work setting
  • Be able to approach complex issues in a structured and logical way
  • An interest in economic issues facing Ireland
  • Experience of economic impact assessment, cost benefit analysis, economic modelling, econometrics, business case development or policy evaluation
  • Experience of working in a high performing team, engaging with senior stakeholders and managing staff to deliver on time, whilst maintaining quality
  • Experience of presenting work to a senior audience
  • Experience of applying economic theory to the development and evaluation of public and regulatory policy
