Location: London (Hybrid)
Are you an experienced Equity Research professional with a passion for combining financial analysis and data-driven insights? We're seeking a senior expert to bridge investment research and data process design, supporting portfolio monitoring, valuation, and performance analytics.
This will be an initial 6 month contract paying between £600 and £700 p/d DOE.
What You'll Do
- Conduct in-depth financial statement analysis to assess earnings quality, cash flow sustainability, and key value drivers.
- Perform valuation analysis using DCF, trading multiples, and peer benchmarking.
- Design structured approaches to collect and manage financial and operational data for portfolio companies.
- Collaborate with tech teams to translate research processes into scalable data models and dashboards.
- Ensure data consistency and analytical rigor across all outputs.
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years' experience in equity research or investment analysis (sell-side or buy-side).
- Strong foundation in accounting, financial statements, and valuation techniques.
- Advanced Excel skills, with exposure to SQL, Python, or BI tools.
- Excellent communication skills to convey insights to non-specialist audiences.
- Bonus: ACA/CFA qualification and experience with data warehouses or portfolio monitoring tools.
