Start your job searchWe have a fantastic opportunity for a European Tax Accountant to join an exciting business located in Cheshire that is growing at a swift rate. The position is well suited to a candidate with a history of working in Tax, Financial Accounting and VAT within a shared service centre environment.
The roles requires;
- Build operational relationships across an International business and be the 'go to' person for advice on all things Tax
- The candidate to review the regulatory returns for Indirect tax and VAT across the business.
- Liaison with advisors and professional bodies
- Maintaining a good knowledge of all legislator changes relating to Tax across EMEA
- The control of remittance and refunds of any indirect tax liabilities.
- Providing the Treasury with indirect tax payments and receipts forecasts.
- Managing an indirect tax compliance calendar.
- Mapping of the indirect tax processes to identify areas that can be improved.
- Manage the Group's indirect tax registrations/de-registrations across various jurisdictions
The role will be suite for someone who has experience of compliance in Europe along with a strong knowledge base of Excel and ERP Accounting Software. This role will give you plenty autonomy, where you will have direct contact with the Head of Tax and Board members.
