The Client: Boutique Investment Manager
The Location: London City Centre (Hybrid Working)
This is a newly appointed role to join an Investment Management firm in the city of London. They are looking for someone with 1-2 years experience looking to progress their career and become ACCA qualified.
The Requirements:
- 1-2 years experience in a similar role
- 2:1 from a top university in a relevant field (Accounting, Finance, Economics, Maths)
- Has started or looking to start their ACCA/CIMA qualification
- Prior experience to AP, Bookkeeping, bank recs, payment runs etc
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Prior experience in the Financial Services space would be desirable
The Role:
- This role sits between both the Corporate Accounting and Fund Accounting team
- The Successful candidate will be able to chose which way they would like to progress, either as a Corporate Accountant or as a Fund Accountant
- Assist the Financial Controller & Fund Controller with day to day tasks
- Executing Payment Runs, Accounts Payable, Banks Reconciliation & Bookkeeping
- Prepare Specific Fund Calculations, maintaining co-invest schedules, prepare loan investments & receipts.
