An international FMCG/Supply chain company is seeking a newly qualified accountant to join their central London based team. This company is a multibillion dollar business, with hundreds of brands in their portfolio.

It is crucial for you to have logistic/freight experience, gained while in practice or industry. The fundamental purpose of this role is to control and report on all financial matters in relation to cost for the corporate finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure monthly reviews are held to ensure actual costs against forecasts, and be able to explain variances
  • Provide accurate financial information and ensure reporting of data is visible and compliant with policies
  • Assist with any freight invoicing issues
  • Cost reconciliation and accruals
  • Provide good quality analysis of Group policies and standards, willing to give advice and guidance where required
