A SME Tech business based in central London is recruiting for a Finance Manager to join their fast-paced team.

The successful applicant will be responsible for Complete all month end procedures including: closing of sales and purchase ledgers, balance sheet reconciliations and management reporting packs for all entities, Reconciliation of bank accounts, ensure all purchase invoices and credits are booked on timely basis and necessary accruals and prepayments are booked in month, oversee monthly suppliers runs ensuring all suppliers are paid on time, cashflow management, preparing 13 week rolling cash forecasts, oversight of company credit cards booking, analysis and authorization, managing Customer ledger accounts aging and credit control function, preparation and submission of quarterly VAT return to HMRC including HMRC forms, posting monthly journals for accruals, prepayments, deferred revenue and depreciation, overseeing both AP/AR Functions and improving process to ensure both departments run efficiently, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the businesses accounting records and financial systems at all time.

Ideally this candidate will have a minimum of 3-4 years' of experience of technical accounting. Candidates must have strong knowledge of debits and credits and good organization skills with the ability to identify and solve problems. Experience within process improvement is essential and the ideal candidate will have experience in being involved within multiple functions within finance.
