Start your job searchOur client a global Fintech leader are seeking a Financial Accountant on a 12 month FTC to join and support in their continued international growth.
The role seeks a newly/recently qualified ACA / ACCA to work within the financial accounting team and to contribute to the monthly, quarterly and annual financial delivery. It also requires ensuring the UK entities adhere to statuatory requirements.
Responsibilites:
Key Tasks
- Prep of monthly management accounts;
- Assist in AP operations
- Assist with the preparation of Financial accounts and point of contact for auditors;
- Detailed balance sheet reviews;
- Work with senior members of the finance team to ensure compliance
- Ensuring effective internal controls and processes operate in the company
- Ensure processes surrounding offshore functions are operating in an optimal manner and produce process improvements where this is not the case;
- Manage accounting/compliance for smaller group entities across Europe including VAT/Tax/Transfer Pricing;
- Other adhoc projects/duties
Qualifications experience:
- ACA/ACCA Qualified;
- Excellent stakeholder management and collaborative relationship management
- Experience of handling multiple demands and competing priorities
- The ability to deal constructively with unexpected challenges or sudden changes in priorities;
- Experience with Fintech/Software companies an advantage;
- Preferable experience of US GAAP;
- Good Excel skills a minimum requirement (e.g. competent in the use of pivots/vlookups
