3 month Temp to Perm role.
My Client, an exciting and rapidly growing IT firm are looking to add an energetic and experienced Financial Accountant to their team on a temp to permanent basis. This role will be focusing on VAT & Corporation Tax so strong previous experience in these areas is also a must. This is an immediate start so please do not apply if you are on a lengthy notice period.
Financial Accountant Job Purpose:
Preparation, examination and analysis of financial reports and records.
Financial Accountant Job Duties:
- Multi- currency Balance Sheet reconciliations including investigation, balance substantiation and compliance with IFRS.
- Weekly cashflow forecast and actuals, for 40+ multicurrency bank accounts, working with various Finance team members to ensure an accurate reflection of payments and receipts.
- Preparation of monthly workings for Sundry Debtors, Accrued Income and Advanced Receipts.
- Preparation of Financial Statements in line with FRS 102.
- Preparation of VAT returns for the UK Group ensuring HMRC compliance and gradually taking over the VAT aspect of the finance team.
- Miscellaneous analysis when required.
Financial Accountant Skills and Qualifications:
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualified
- Knowledge/experience with Multicurrency entities.
- Strong Knowledge of FRS 102
- Previous experience with VAT and Corporation Tax.
