Start your job searchA global shipping business based in east London is currently seeking a Financial Accountant to join their fast pace team.
Working as part of the statutory accounts division, responsibilities will include contributing to monthly and yearly financial close, financial reporting, performing analysis and summary reports for regional and corporate executives, balance sheet management, ensure efficient use of the financial systems and initiate process improvement where necessary to strengthen internal controls, ad-hoc projects and managing an Accounts Assistant in the team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has gained strong technical accounting experience. Ideally you will have 3-5 years' experience working in finance with strong statutory accounts and reporting knowledge. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are critical as you will be working with various stakeholders across the business and prior experience supervising would be beneficial. This role would be best suited to candidates who are part-qualified/ finalist/ newly qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
