My Client is looking to take on a qualified Financial Accountant on a 3 month basis to join their team. They are a leader in the software industry and looking to find find a vibrant and hard working Accountant to focus on their balance sheets and foreign accounts.
Financial Accountant Job Purpose:
Preparation, examination and analysis of financial reports and records.
Financial Accountant Job Duties:
- Balance Sheet reconciliations including investigation, balance substantiation, compliance with IFRS and verification of amounts requiring revaluation, as well as confirmation of the revaluation accounting treatment.
- Documentation of Balance Sheet Reconciliation preparation. Check for compliance with IFRS.
- Update of weekly cashflow forecast and actuals, for 40+ multicurrency bank accounts, working with various Finance team members to ensure an accurate reflection of payments and receipts.
- Preparation of monthly workings for Sundry Debtors, Accrued Income and Advanced Receipts.
- Miscellaneous analysis when required.
Financial Accountant Skills and Qualifications:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
- Immediate Start
- Multicurrency Experience
- Experience populating balance sheets from raw data
- Strong knowledge of IFRS
- Previous experience forcasting 30+ accounts with multiple currencies
