Start your job searchA major publishing business based in the heart on London s currently seeking a Financial Accountant to join their busy finance division.
This is a varied role including a mixture of financial and management accounts preparation. Reporting in to the Head of Central Finance, duties will include accounts preparation for the company's head office functions, providing management support and analysis, variance analysis, budget and forecasting, managing the intercompany accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, managing the fixed asset register, VAT returns, assisting with audit and statutory accounts preparation.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to work in a varied and challenge role which cover management and financial accounts. Ideally this candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years' experience working in finance with strong balance sheet work, month end journal posting and assisting with accounts preparation. They should have high accuracy and attention to detail, be proactive with the ability to think outside the box and strong communication skills. Ideally you will be part-qualified ACCA/ CIMA or equivalent with strong Excel skills. Previous experience using SUN, TM1 or Cognos would be beneficial but is not essential.
