Due to recent business growth and trading success this year, a new role has been created for someone to take full ownership of all Financial Accounting matters.

You will be join a highly acquisitive business, and work in a very busy, fast paced dynamic environment with the autonomy to put in your own processes and procedures to improve the efficiency of this department.

Reporting into the Finance Director, Europe, your responsibilities will include:

- preparation of annual financial statements, including the consolidation for 4 European entities

- preparation of consolidated management accounts

- ownership of Tax (corporation tax and VAT)

- taking the lead on Technical Accounting issues

Your Requirements:

- ACA/ACCA qualified accountant

- experience in producing annual statutory accounts (under IFRS) and consolidated management accounts

- experience in submitting EC sales lists and UK VAT returns (including partial exemption)

- track record in advising on technical accounting issues

- experience in a regulated environment (financial services) is essential
