The Role: Financial Controller

The Client: Boutique Real Estate Investment

The Location: London City Centre

Renowned Real Estate Investment firm in both Residential & Commercial real estate based in London City Centre are looking to add to their corporate finance team. Financial Controller reporting directly into the Finance Director.

The Role:

• Quarterly management reporting across a range of Group entities
• Preparation of detailed group and sub-group annual budgets and business plans incorporating P&L, Balance Sheet and cashflow forecasts.
• Year-end accounts preparation including dealing with auditors.
• Managing fee income including adhering to Advisory Agreements in place with clients and raising sales invoices as necessary.
• Liaising with outsourced providers
• Review and presentation of quarterly management accounts and annual financial statements for a number of investments.
• Oversee and developing the Senior Accountant

The Requirements:

• ACA qualified or equivalent
• At least 2 years post qualification
• Good knowledge of GAAP (particularly UK GAAP and IFRS).
• Understanding of VAT, UK Corporation Tax and other UK taxes.
• Experience of using accounting systems, including recording transactions and extracting reports / information.
