Role - Financial Controller Location - Preston Salary - Between £75,000 and £85,000 + benefits

Marks Sattin are currently recruiting for a fast-growing PE backed technology business in their search for a Financial Controller to work out of their offices just outside Preston on a hybrid working model.

The successful candidate will need to be ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified and have a strong a technical accounting background. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage workloads is crucial. Advanced Excel skills are essential and any exposure to working with an ERP system previously would be a distinct advantage. Excellent staff management skills are crucial as is the ability to work to tight deadlines. Key duties for the Financial Controller role will involve:

  • Responsibility for month-end close
  • Manage the financial reporting process
  • Support with the budgeting and forecasting process
  • Cashflow management
  • Variance analysis and reporting on trends
  • KPI Reporting
  • Statutory accounts production
  • Lead in the development and improvement of processes, controls and systems
  • Management of the finance team

Salary for the role is anywhere between £75,000 and £85,000
