Interim Financial Controller | Wigan | £55,000 - £65,000 | Initial 3 month contract

Marks Sattin are delighted to be recruiting for a Financial Controller on an interim basis for PE backed business in Wigan.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the company, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, financial regulations, and company policies.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial operations of the company, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
• Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures that ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion of financial statements and reports.
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and other stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk, ensuring adequate liquidity to meet the company's operational needs.

About you:

• ACA/ACCA/ACMA qualified
• Previous experience in a financial leadership role, with a strong track record of success.
• Proven ability to manage complex financial operations and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficient in financial software and systems, including ERP, financial reporting, and analysis tools.
