Start your job searchMarks Sattin is currently working with a business who is recruiting for a Financial Modeller who is able to assist the business is manipulating data to collate a strong strategic direction.
Working closely with the senior finance team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the models that value assets and liabilities. This position is perfect for someone who is technically minded and who has a relevant accountancy qualification and modelling experience to join this analytical, trusted and agile team.
You will:
- Work autonomously to deliver departmental priorities
- You'll undertake a range of analytical activities to evaluate appropriate techniques, interpret the outcomes of these and provide relevant recommendations.
- You'll also evaluate and establish data sources to ensure analysis is undertaken on relevant and appropriate data
- You'll develop the tools, techniques and procedures relating to forecasting and valuation modelling activities.
To be considered for this role:
You will have a relevant accountancy qualification ( ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and will be able to understand, interpret and manipulate data and turn your analysis into real solutions and recommendations. You will have a working knowledge of Excel and an understanding/willingness to learn other relevant modelling software such as SAS.
