We are currently partnering with a leading global business solutions corporate that is focused on quality engagement and long-term relationships within their specialised field. Due to a broad restructure across finance, there now exists a new opportunity for a qualified accountant to join as Financial Reporting Manager with a focus on reporting to the US parent.

Reporting to the Accounting Finance Director, you will be responsible for the statutory accounting and reporting for the European subsidiaries across the division, covering local GAAPs and reporting under US GAAP. In addition, you will manage the external audit process and provide technical accounting guidance to the wider business and ad hoc project support where required, including supporting a new ERP implementation. Key to the role will also be managing and developing a small team.

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA) and your background will demonstrate strong accounting and technical expertise, most likely from a chartered environment. You will have knowledge of SOX, experience of preparing statutory accounts and ideally providing guidance in relation to US / European GAAPs. You will have excellent interpersonal skills to partner across the business and also manage and lead the team. The role presents an excellent opportunity to develop and further your career with a company that invests in their staff and nurtures talent.
