The details
Key responsibilities includes:
- Preparation of financial statements and support through the external audit process
- Delivery of daily P&L reporting, including variance analysis and commentary
- Supporting regulatory submissions to UK regulators
- Assisting with VAT and Corporation Tax reporting
- Performing balance sheet reconciliations and control checks
- Investigating and resolving discrepancies across the general ledger
- Maintaining and improving financial controls and processes
- Supporting finance projects and driving process enhancements
About You
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
- Experience within a banking
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and controls
- Exposure to regulatory reporting is highly desirable
- Hedge accounting
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders
