Our client are a well established, global market leader who are headquartered in South Manchester. Due to an internal restructure, a new role has been created for a Group Accountant to join their ambitious finance function.

This role will primarily take responsibility for statutory reporting requirements across the business and play an active part in assessing and improving processes as a whole.

This is an exciting opportunity which will enable exposure to Senior stakeholders, both within and externally to finance and allow the successful applicant the chance to fully own the technical accounting responsibilities within the Group, including primary responsibility for audit, statutory reviews for all trading entities and further development of an accounting policy manual.

This role would be ideal for a candidate with a strong base of technical accounting experience and in particular thorough knowledge of FRS 102, therefore someone who has recently qualified in a practice environment looking for their first role in industry would be of particular interest.
