The details
This vacancy has now expired.
Start your job searchI am currently working on a really exciting opportunity within a start-up venture capital firm who are looking for a senior accountant to join their rapidly expanding finance team.
The firm are still very much in the start-up phase of their development having initiated as a spinout of one of London's most prestigious Investment Management firms, as such, they are extremely well supported and capitalised. The firm have a focus on investing in technology companies, particularly in the fintech space, and are currently in the midst of building out their finance team with two senior members already in place.
In terms of the role, they are looking for someone who would be able to take ownership of the accounting for the business but also someone with the entrepreneurial mindset to be able to really be apart of this forward looking organisation. You will gain exposure across the business from day one and your role will grow with the business and with the companies they own as you will be interacting with the investments regularly, as such, this is a unique opportunity where you will really be able to carve your own role within the company.
The ideal candidate for this position will come from a strong academic background and be a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA or equivalent) with a strong technical grounding in IFRS and consolidations. The role would really suit someone who has been able to build up their technical skills away from practice and who is looking for their second move in a start-up style business in a role which you will really be able to get your teeth into.
