Start your job searchAs a member of the financial reporting team within Group Finance, you'll help drive production of the group's consolidated financial results and work with finance teams across the business to analyse and advise on financial accounting matters.
- Responsibility for the preparation of the statutory accounts for a number of subsidiaries.
- Be responsible for producing the consolidated financial results for the group
- Assist with the production of the group monthly consolidated result
- Prepare reporting for multiple divisions
- Communicate regularly with other members of finance to deal with any queries and ensure that results can be produced accurately and on time
- Maintain the integrity of the consolidation process through close liaison with finance teams across the group
- Work with other finance teams to integrate new business areas into our standard reporting and accounting processes
- Be compliant with internal governance and controls, ensuring key controls are operating effectively
- Provide accounting advice to local finance teams on a wide variety of ad hoc queries, including complex and critical areas of accounting such as lease accounting, impairment testing and revenue recognition
- Provide accounting advice and due diligence on corporate transactions and commercial deals, including acquisitions, new products and services
The candidate:
- Qualified as a finance professional, and will have experience of financial accounting and reporting from working in a group financial reporting environment and/or from audit
- The ability to work within a highly controlled and process-driven environment
- Efficiency and accuracy delivery of reporting for a variety of stakeholders
- Preparation skills of accounting analysis and insight
