Start your job searchLeading PE business based in North Yorkshire is currently recruiting for a Group Internal Audit Manager. This is an astounding opportunity as the business has experience exponential growth and has more planned for 2020.
With a turnover exceeding £1b, you will assist the Head of Internal Audit & Risk with rolling and delivering the audit plan. Working across the group, you will be delivering financial and operational audits ensuring a risk based approach.
In the role, you will work closely with the Head of Audit, who has a proven background in progressing his team, who have all moved on to be successful Head of Audit across the region.
In the role you will take responsibility for:
- Delivery of the annual internal audit plan through the completion of internal audit reviews as instructed by the head of internal audit
- Audit committee papers
- Provision of guidance and improving standardization to the wider finance community through participation in working groups and projects
- Deputise for the head of internal audit where required
Ideally you will be qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, IIA) and have experience working in an accountancy firm or within industry working in an Internal Audit role.
