Start your job searchThis role will lead Middle and back office operations for a large financial services company with several global locations.
The role will give the succesful applicant an opportunity to build out a new team to oversee the global service provider activities across global operational areas.
Duties will include:
- Build and manage a governance and oversight team.
- Overall responsibility for the management, governance, oversight and delivery of the firm's Derivative solution within TMS across, OTC and Exchange Traded Derivatives for global markets.
- Responsible for Global operational relationship management with third party suppliers
- Carry out annual due diligence reviews and present outcomes to relevant internal governance and risk committees and boards as required.
- Represent Derivatives Middle office at senior oversight committee meetings across various product lines as required
- Communicate and report operational risks effectively to business partners and management.
- Shape and articulate vision, strategy, plans and goals for the teams.
- Champion technology to improve workflow, work quality, control, risk management and measurement. Work closely with technology teams from assessment and analysis to development and implementation.
The successful applicant will have:
- Previous experience in the financial services sector leading complex operational teams
- Must have a global mind set and be able to lead across global teams
- Must be open minded in terms of developing new ways of working, showing strong leadership to implement change.
- Proven experience and knowledge of the investment management business
- Experience with systems development and business change management.
