A renowned US real estate investor with a growing portfolio in Europe seeks a driven and aspiring CFO or FD of the future for this newly created role. The company has enjoyed huge success from investing in commercial real estate across the US and is now looking to channel significant capital into the UK and European market. This role will focus on carving out a finance function in London and offers unrivalled career potential to recruit a finance team as the business grows organically over the next 12 to 18 months.

Your remit will be to build out a first class finance function that will service a complex and extremely fast paced investing environment. The role is anticipated to co-ordinate, review and analyse all fund reporting for the current European investment portfolio with a large focus around oversight and management of the administrator relationship. You'll be the local expert for all accounting and tax requirements as well as delivery of numbers to the US head office. It's absolutely essential you have experience in the real estate investment sector, understand how to manage and keep track of all moving parts and can work in a fluid and high octane environment. The growth of the business is expected to be astronomical with a genuine chance to fast track your career and hire a small finance team to support you.

We're looking for someone ACA / CA qualified (or equivalent) with relevant post qualified experience in the real estate funds management sector (essential). You're likely to be at Financial Controller, Fund Controller or Head of Finance level or similar with broad financial and commercial exposure to a complex and multi layered European investment business. The ability to work independently is a must in addition to proven abilities in a relationship management / point of contact role.
