A FTSE listed healthcare group is looking for a Head of Management accounts to join on a 1 year FTC, maternity cover.

As the Head of Management Accounts you will have 2 direct reports and looking after the management accounts preparation from a team of 8.

Main responsibilities:

  • Producing the group's month end processes
  • Leading the management of the management reporting team
  • Responsibility of the key month end controls including journals and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Supporting the wider business with operational finance and policies
  • Effectively motivate and manage the team to meet strict deadlines
  • Continual improvement of systems and processes

Requirements:

  • You will be qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent
  • Experience of managing large teams
  • Background in a health care is desirable
