Start your job searchA B2B PE-backed SaaS business is recruiting for an Interim CFO on an initial 3-6 month contract, with possibility to lead to a permanent fixture. This is an integral first hire for the new investor team, as they look for better financial reporting, management information, FP&A and commercial finance capability for the business.
As the Interim Chief Financial Officer, you will:
- Lead financial strategy for the business with ownership of all aspects including financial planning, analysis, control, budgeting and forecasting
- Build and develop reporting and controls across the business to facilitate PE investor requirements
- Improve FP&A and MI to establish relevant B2B SaaS metrics in order to drive business performance
- Responsible for the documentation of financial process and rigour with a view to implement improved reporting and control mechanisms
- Partnering with C-suite to achieve business and investor objectives
- Report on international revenue with a heavy focus on US based revenue reporting and USGAAP
The ideal candidate will have:
- Considerable experience within PE-backed SaaS business environments and able to demonstrate an in depth understanding of SaaS metrics
- Proven track record working with Private Equity investors
- Strong technical and controls background - a top 4 ACA qualification is preferred, albeit not essential
- Experience delivering SaaS metric reporting and FP&A with required modelling experience
- Experience with US based SaaS revenue and USGAAP
