About the role?
This Interim Finance Business Partner role is a brilliant opportunity with a prestigious Retail & Distribution client with an impressive heritage in the UK. For a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) it is a chance to shape a Finance Business Partnering role that is newly created to support the growth of the business.

As the key Finance Business Partner onsite, you will be in a business facing role. 5 days a week, you will be out meeting your operations directors and business managers, helping them to improve the performance of their units. This is a truly commercial role.

You'll take the business information and help non finance professionals to understand the business actions that need to take place. If that isn't finance business partnering, I'm not sure what is...

So what do you need?
You'll need to be professionally qualified and someone who loves being out in front of the business. Someone that likes to challenge assumptions, someone who likes to help people to improve their organisation.

More than this, you'll be a high achiever, you will have had solid career track record and you will demonstrate that you can drive business performance. You are likely to be working as a business facing finance analyst, a commercial accountant or already in a finance business partnering role.

You will also have worked in large organisations. Whilst this role is all about the way you engage with people, you still need to have worked in a complex environment and have good stakeholder management experience.

What is the client like?
They are a key client of ours and a business which everyone talks about in praising terms. They place a heavy emphasis on staff well-being and they can give you a career path that will satisfy most of your career ambitions.

They are also fast paced, in a vibrant industry, operating as a true market leader. They set the standards that others try to follow.

This role is offered on an initial 12mth contract with the potential of a longer term permanent position. Our client is willing to wait upto 14 days for the right candidate to join, so if you are nearing the end of a contract or soon to be available, please get in touch!
