Start your job searchMarks Sattin are partnering a global PE backed business in Leeds with an impressive growth plan in place - this role has become available due to heavy workload and various investment projects including acquisitions and mergers. The business is part of a global group and is currently expanding their UK offering in which they need a high calibre Finance Manager to support their development in the next 3-6 months.
This position reports to the Head of UK Finance and will have autonomy to develop controls, processes and systems. The role will be varied and have exposure to the senior management team including regional directors, see below responsibilities:
Business Partnering:
- Developing cost centre manager reporting
- Providing up to date financial information to help inform business decisions with key stakeholders
- Assisting with project appraisal and costing, tracking and managing project costs
Forecasting / Budgeting:
- Working with business partners to kick off the annual budget process and create monthly reforecasts
- Analysing variances to budget and communication with key stakeholders
- Responsible for working capital analysis and cashflow forecasting
Financial Reporting:
- Month end close processes
- Process improvement and efficiencies
- Completing balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparing monthly management accounts
The successful candidate must be a qualified accountant with a strong technical and commercial finance background with ability to influence and build relationships across multiple sites and locations. Ideally you will have excellent IT skills in particular MS Office software - Word, Advanced Excel skills with experience of forecasting, budgeting and management reporting including the ability to analyse large quantities of financial information.
