Interim Financial Controller | Manchester | Up to £650pd | Immediate Start

Marks Sattin are delighted to be working with a growing business based in Manchester to recruit for an experienced Interim Financial Controller. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management within a Private Equity tech business. This role is critical in overseeing the financial operations, ensuring accuracy, and providing strategic insights to support our growth objectives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Prepare and present financial statements, reports, and analyses to senior management and stakeholders.
• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

About you

• ACA/ACCA/ACMA qualified Accountant.
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller in a Private Equity-backed tech business.
• Strong knowledge of financial management principles, practices, and regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as ERP systems and Excel.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to work.
