They are hiring a Senior Internal Auditor to be a leader in their existing team, whilst reporting to the Internal Audit Manager. The Internal Auditor will consult with all levels of the organization including management, for validation and resolution of audit findings.

This role will suit a qualified accountant from practice or industry, that is career focused and interested in learning about the business as they take on some limited travel requirements to attractive and desirable locations.

The Role

  • Perform audit procedures related to financial, operational and SOX processes
  • Communicate the results of audits and consulting projects via written reports and oral presentations to management
  • Develop and maintain productive client and staff relationships through individual contacts and group meetings
  • Pursue professional development opportunities, including external & internal training and professional association memberships
  • Represent internal audit on organizational project teams, at management meetings and with external organizations
  • Assess internal control elements to mitigate risks regarding the confidentiality, integrity and availability of business information
  • Work collaboratively and cross-functionally with other major business units throughout the organization

The Candidate

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or CIMA)
  • At least 3 years' + experience in auditing, accounting, business analysis, or similar work required
  • Proficient understanding of external or internal audit
  • Proficient knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley legislation an advantage
  • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with others
  • Working understanding of project planning and implementation, including the ability to work effectively with tight timelines

The Rewards
