Award winning privately held business based in Reading are looking to bring in a Group Internal Auditor to join their finance team. Reporting to the FD this is a standalone role where you will be responsible for the financial and also operational audits working across all areas of the business. It is a very varied role with lots of autonomy where you can really make an impact on the business. Some of the duties you can expect to see in this role are:

  • Plan, Prepare and deliver annual audit plans
  • Prepare reports highlighting any issues and agree recommendations
  • Risk assessments
  • Build relationships with stakeholders and attend meetings with the board

To be considered for this role you will hold either an audit or accountancy qualification (or equivalent) and have strong internal or external audit exposure. You will be organised, particular and have strong attention to detail. Confident to communicate with all areas of the business and inquisitive to spot risks and overcome problems.
