Outstanding Opportunity - Rapidly growing global investment organisation requires an experienced IT Operations Engineer, Senior Infrastructure Engineer to support a complex & fast-moving financial & investment environment ● This is an empowering position where you will add value & make a difference as you will combine day to day support managing all aspects of desktop & mobile computing infrastructure, whilst also leading technology in a major upgrade of environment to support the business globally allowing greater agility & efficiencies of services As IT Operations Engineer / Senior Infrastructure Engineer you will be responsible for entire customer experience lifecycle including global customer service & support, hardware & mobility solutions, remote access, telecommunications, level 1, 2 & 3 application support ● Essential to have expertise in migration & integration of cloud services to include Azure &/or AWS

Expertise & Responsibilities - IT Operations Engineer, Senior Infrastructure Engineer, IT Service Delivery Engineer

  • Solid experience as IT Operations Engineer, Senior Infrastructure Engineer, IT Service Delivery Engineer, IT Operations Analyst, Cloud Engineer or similar, with broad experience
  • Essential to have working knowledge of asset management & financial investment industry, including understanding of hedge fund & private equity business models & associated technology
  • Essential to have expertise in migration & integration of cloud services
  • Essential to have experience of Azure &/or AWS
  • Delivering 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support, with ability to troubleshoot & resolve complex issues
  • You will establish technology & practices to significantly improve performance of critical end-user technology to support a mobile, global workforce.
  • Software Defined Services - Develop and implement policies & procedures that govern all shared services including network service & operations, insure proper implementation utilizing industry best practices, change management, and toolsets for managing and monitoring performance across multiple sites.
  • For clarity we seek a business focused IT Operations Engineer / Senior Infrastructure Engineer with experience of supporting a complex & fast-moving financial & investment environment
  • You will work closely with MSP's & any experience working with or as part of MSP highly desirable
  • 7+ years experience, ideally with some exposure to DevOps
