Marks Sattin are currently looking for a senior risk leadership opportunity within a regulated financial services organisation. This role is responsible for providing independent second line oversight across information security, technology, data, AI, operational resilience and business change, ensuring risks are effectively managed while supporting innovation and strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide independent oversight and challenge of technology, cyber, data and operational risk management activities.
  • Review risk assessments, control effectiveness and remediation plans, ensuring risks are identified and managed appropriately.
  • Monitor and assess emerging risks across areas such as cyber security, artificial intelligence, technology change and data governance.
  • Lead the review of incidents, issues and root cause analysis, challenging remediation actions where required.
  • Deliver clear and insightful risk reporting to senior stakeholders and governance committees.
  • Support the development and embedding of enterprise risk frameworks, policies and risk appetite requirements.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to colleagues across the business.

What We're Looking For

  • Professional qualification such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC or similar.
  • Strong experience in Technology Risk, Information Security, Cyber Risk, IT Audit or Operational Risk.
  • Proven second line risk experience within a regulated environment.
  • Good understanding of frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001 and operational resilience principles.
  • Knowledge of emerging technology and AI-related risks.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to influence senior leaders and provide constructive challenge.
