Start your job searchReporting to the Financial Controller, the Accounts Payable Manager will manage the cost reporting and accounts payable process, including reconciliations related to the AP process.
Responsibilities:
- Completion of monthly management reporting and variance analysis.
- Manage the PO, invoice and payment cycle, and ensuring AP is controlled effectively, including liaising with procurement and budget owners.
- Management of cost analysis and control, especially against budget and partnering with FP&A to understand any variances.
- Month-end close activities including accruals, prepayments, journal postings and review of results.
- Supervision of bank accounts and bank reconciliations.
- Management of expense claims and processes around corporate credit cards.
- Provide support to the business and ad hoc reporting.
- Proposing improvements to processes and controls, as appropriate.
About you:
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following experience, skills and behaviours:
- Previous management accounting and reporting experience; and extensive accounts payable experience.
- Previous cost analysis experience.
- Accountancy part-qualified, for example ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
- Advanced analytical techniques.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including understanding of syntax behind lookup formulas.
