Start your job searchMarks Sattin are delighted to be working with this market leading manufacturing business who are currently looking to add to their team.
Due to the relocation of the current post-holder, they are looking for an ambitious Management Accountant to join their Head Office finance function, working within a team of 4 and reporting to the Finance Manager. Typically you will be responsible for the following:-
- Producing weekly and monthly management accounts
- Business partnering with non finance stakeholders to discuss variances
- Assisting with budgets and forecasting
- New product costings
- Stock control/accounting
This is an unusual opportunity to really step outside of a finance department and be exposed to/develop relationships with other key areas of the business including supply chain, marketing and the factory itself.
The role would ideally suit an individual currently studying towards or qualified in a professional accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA or equivalent) as the experience gained in this role will align with the practical requirements for these qualifications. An individual with previous experience in manufacturing is preferred.
