Management Accountant - Media - Contract

This leading media and entertainment group has a history of producing strong results and growth. They have developed one of the best cultures in London which encourages employee development, work/life balance and sustainability.

Due to an internal promotion, a brilliant opportunity now exists for a talented Management Accountant to join the team on a 6 month contract. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will have responsibilities including:

  • Preparation of monthly financial accounts
  • Annual budget preparation
  • Monthly forecasting
  • Monthly variance analysis
  • Long term planning and strategic analysis
  • Liaising with stakeholders
  • Assist with rolling out efficiencies and new processes

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

Qualification:

  • Newly ACA Qualified
  • Experience within the media/retail sector
  • Experience working within a high-volume business
  • Experience of working in a dynamic environment
  • Experience of working in a diverse team
  • Proven track record in producing accurate management accounts in a timely manner

Skills and Knowledge:

    • Working to a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail at all times
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
    • Ability to work to strict deadlines
    • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
    • Positive attitude
    • Experience of producing management accounts within a strict deadline
    • Experience of Sage X3
