Management Accountant - Media - Contract

This leading media and entertainment group has a history of producing strong results and growth. They have developed one of the best cultures in London which encourages employee development, work/life balance and sustainability.

Due to an internal promotion, a brilliant opportunity now exists for a talented Management Accountant to join the team on a 6 month contract. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will have responsibilities including:

Preparation of monthly financial accounts
Annual budget preparation
Monthly forecasting
Monthly variance analysis
Long term planning and strategic analysis
Liaising with stakeholders
Assist with rolling out efficiencies and new processes

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

Qualification:

Newly ACA Qualified
Experience within the media/retail sector
Experience working within a high-volume business
Experience of working in a dynamic environment
Experience of working in a diverse team
Proven track record in producing accurate management accounts in a timely manner

Skills and Knowledge:

Working to a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail at all times
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work to strict deadlines
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
Positive attitude
Experience of producing management accounts within a strict deadline
Experience of Sage X3
