Management Accountant

York

Permanent, Full time

Working as a key member of the finance team, you will assist the FC with the preparation of monthly management accounts including P&L analysis and maintaining balance sheet reconciliations.

Responsible for:

  • Preparation on monthly management accounts
  • Creation, analysis and posting journals of accruals, prepayments,
  • Reconciling inter-company transactions
  • Developing and maintaining balance sheet reconciliations
  • Maintaining the fixed asset register
  • Producing monthly financial information including p&l reports
  • Monthly VAT validation
  • Preparing the aged debtor report and reviewing potential bad debts

Requirements:

  • Previous working experience in management accounting role
  • Qualified Accountant (QBE may be considered also)
  • Excellent Excel experience
  • Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Full driving licence required
