Seeking a Senior Accountant to join a fast-growing telecommunications company based in Hertfordshire. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to join a growing business and be part of an exciting period of strategic acquisitions.

Working closely with the CFO, duties include;

  • Complete all month end procedures such as closing of sales and purchase ledgers, balance sheet reconciliations and putting together the management reporting pack
  • Provide accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Assist with the annual budgeting process
  • Year-end reporting
  • Prepare financial analysis, including variance commentary, for board packs
  • Oversee monthly payroll process
  • Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
  • Assist with planned strategic acquisitions

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Have obtained or be working towards an accountancy qualification
  • Experience working within practice is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication skills, able to speak to a variety of stakeholders
  • Must be self-motivated and self-starter with a desire to be part of a growing business and improve/challenge current processes
  • Experience using Sage is advantageous
