Start your job searchOur client, an established and hugely respected organisation in their sector with a high profile customer base are currently looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join their team.
The business has recently relocated to the Stockport area, and working in brand new offices this is an outstanding opportunity for a Part/Newly Qualified Accountant to be mentored by a dynamic FD in a No 2 role.
Assuming responsibility over the Purchase Ledger function and having one direct report, the role will encompass managment, financial and commercial accounting. More specifically you will be expected to produce the management accounts (with commentary) including full balance sheet responsibility, working with budget holders to simplify and help them understand financial information, overseeing the financial accounts including month end close of the ledgers and preparing regular and ad hoc financial reports including stock/margin reporting. Going forwards there will be the opportunity to get involved in ongoing projects impacting Finance (including the implementation of a new ERP system in Q4 2019).
This is a very exciting opportunity to help shape and develop a Finance function as there will be ample opportunity to make improvements and work very closely with the FD in terms of driving the team, and in turn the wider business, forwards.
Benefits include flexible working hours, bonus scheme and staff discount.
