Start your job searchA leading international trading company are looking to for a Market Risk Analyst to join the team in London.
This candidate will need to have previous experience in market risk as well as exposure to either oil, energy, gas, LNG, emissions, power or commodities.
Day to day tasks include:
- Helping in provide the business with the capability to value, monitor and risk manage across a range of traded markets
- Deal with ad hoc requests in relation to risk analytics for market risk in general.
- Assist in numerous projects helping implement structure, and new risk metrics
- Generating exposure and risk metric calculation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, in particular daily monitor the market exposure and profit and loss move across the aggregated ETS P&L
- Analysing, investigating and commenting PNL trading results focusing on trading and shipping performances and market trends
- Maintaining a good knowledge of risk metrics (i.e. VaR and stress analysis) and perform ad hoc analysis where necessary
- Supporting automation initiatives and where necessary work with ICT to drive necessary developments
Strong programming skills are also essential for success in this role.
