About the Role
We are seeking a highly analytical and motivated Migration Analyst to join a growing technology driven organisation in the Insurance Technology sector. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex data challenges, working with cross functional teams, and taking an important role in delivering accurate and reliable customer data migrations. You will be responsible for analysing, transforming, and migrating customer datasets into a new platform. Accuracy, attention to detail, and a methodical approach will be essential for success.
This opportunity offers a blend of structure, collaboration, and innovation. You will join a team that values continuous learning, clear progression, and meaningful contribution from your first day. The environment encourages ownership, process improvement, and technical curiosity.
Key Responsibilities
In this role you will support the full lifecycle of customer data migrations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Analysing customer datasets and identifying patterns, inconsistencies, and required transformations.
- Designing and building reliable data transformation packages that support accurate migration into the target platform.
- Producing clear technical specifications that describe transformation logic, data mapping, and workflow steps.
- Working closely with project managers, technical colleagues, and customers to clarify requirements and resolve challenges.
- Validating and testing transformation outputs to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project standards.
- Documenting processes and outputs in a clear and structured manner.
- Supporting process improvements and contributing to best practice guidelines.
- Assisting with project workstreams, troubleshooting issues, and helping ensure milestones are met.
This role combines technical data work with regular communication and stakeholder support. It offers variety and the chance to make a visible impact on both customer experience and internal delivery quality.
What You Can Expect
You will join an organisation that values growth and professional development. You can expect:
- A clear and transparent career development framework supported by regular reviews and feedback.
- Opportunities to lead elements of migration projects as your experience grows and to support junior team members.
- Access to structured training and ongoing technical development.
- A supportive hybrid model with two days each week onsite in London to encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing.
About You
You will be a strong match for this role if you:
- Bring a technical and analytical mindset supported by a degree in a STEM subject or equivalent experience.
- Enjoy working with data and finding solutions to complex problems.
- Have strong communication, organisation, and time management skills.
- Are proactive, curious, and eager to build your skills further.
- Have experience with or interest in database technologies. Knowledge of SQL or PL SQL is helpful but not essential.
Additional Information
This role requires two days per week onsite in London. The organisation is committed to creating an inclusive and supportive workplace and welcomes applicants from all backgrounds.
If you are ready to join a team where your ideas matter, your impact is immediate, and your progression is supported, we would be pleased to hear from you.
