Established technology service provider with plans to double in size over the next three years has a newly created role for an ambitious ACA qualified Accountant.
You will play an integral role in Finance & Operations, engaging & partnering with external vendors, internal peers and business leaders through the proactive delivery, reporting and communication of financial performance results.
Reporting directly to the GFC, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of financial statements
- Prepare and review monthly results including posting EOM journals (Prepayments, Accruals, Payroll, revenue and expenses).
- Assist the GFC in process development and implementation.
- Tax
- Preparation and review of monthly General Ledger reconciliations
- Monthly Management Reporting.
- Audit
- Preparation of quarterly Business Activity Statements.
- Preparation of intercompany loan and trade creditor reconciliations.
- Review bank reconciliations (Including Trust Accounts) for entities.
- Annual budgeting, forecasting and planning.
- Mentoring and supervision of an Assistant Accountant.
- Current ACA Qualification
- Sound technical working knowledge of financial and management reporting, tax and other regulatory compliance.
- Strong systems skills
- Financial Analytical capabilities.
- Demonstrated management & supervision of direct reports.
You are a newly qualified ACA Accountant with ideally one year in industry and immediately available. Alternatively, you may looking at your first move into industry.
