A reputable retailer department store based in Central London is seeking a qualified accountant to join their fast pace team.

This is a great opportunity for candidates have strong technical accounting experience within audit. Responsibilities will include financial reporting, producing the month end reporting packs, P&L review and analysis, balance sheet management, business partnering, monitor the impact of IFRS 16, VAT returns and additional ad-hoc reporting and analysis and more.

The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA/ ACCA or equivalent), preferably from a top 10 accounting firm. The successful candidate should be ambitious, a team player and have strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and build strong relationships with stakeholders. Candidates must have strong technical accounting abilities and advanced Excel skills are essential in order to manipulate and interpret large data sets. Experience auditing clients within the retail space would be beneficial but isn't essential.
