Start your job searchOur client is a leading Bio-Pharma company based in Cork - currently seeking an experience Finance Transformation Project manager to lead a payroll transformation project. Working in a finance share services environment which covers circa 40 country across EMEA & Canada. The Project lead will manage (in conjunction with the broader Global Project Team) the transition the companies current Time & Attendance system to Workday Time for sites in Ireland, Netherlands & Canada.
Duties will include:
- Oversee all aspects of the project, set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarise progress of project.
- Prepare reports for management regarding status of project.
- The role will also include Supervisory duties in Payroll Department covering a number of countries as part of this project role.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of this project
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule using appropriate verification techniques
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Delegate project tasks to FSS Payroll team as required
- Track project performance, specifically to analyse the successful completion of short and long-term goals
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven working experience in project management, Finance & Payroll roles
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Previous experience of using Workday
