Start your job searchMarks Sattin are currently working with a Leeds based Financial Services organisation to assist with the recruitment of a Portfolio Director. This role will see you leading a team responsible for technical project delivery for short and long term goals and strategies. You will drive the planning, monitoring and execution of strategic priorities as defined by the CIO.
Responsibilities;
- Responsible for the strategy and working practices within the Technology function.
- Ensure the Technical Project Portfolio is managed in time and to budget and that all risks to delivery are clearly articulated and shared.
- Provide thought leadership to constantly improve the department and provide clear strategy, leading by example, demonstrating continuous change and improvement with visionary leadership and thoughtful engagement with associates.
- Ensure that resource management for both internal and external resource is proactively managed.
- Develop and foster mentor relationships with the CIO Teams to ensure cross functional alignment.
- Manage the Programme board meetings and the production of the board pack content.

- Outstanding business acumen and judgement

- Strong analytical and organisational capabilities
- Total ownership mentality
- Ability to influence stakeholders at C suite level
- Experience of delivering multimillion £ programmes over a number of years
- Financial Services sector experience and or regulated business experience
- Working knowledge of service management frameworks such as ITIL
- Agile practitioner
