Start your job searchAn experienced Private Equity Fund Accountant or Controller is required to join a high performing and fast growing firm based in central London.
Main duties include involvement in Fund Accounting and Investor Reporting as well as Group Reporting, Oversight and Management of Administrators and systems and process improvement work.
There will also be the opportunity for the right candidate to get involved in Fund raising for new Funds.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assisting with overseeing the administrators reporting on the funds
- Oversight of annual financial statement production across funds and to manage the audit process
- Respond to and develop processes/procedures around external investor queries
- Review and preparation of all investor financial and ad hoc reporting, Fund analysis and dealing with regulatory reporting (AIFMD, Solvency II and other regulations);
- Valuations and analysis
- Perform ongoing and ad hoc analysis of Fund performance, calculation of Fund IRR's, Carried Interest and other Fund performance measures
- Review Fund expenses, drawdowns & distributions
As the successful applicant, you will:
- Be ACA, ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
- Have at least 2 years of experience working with Private Equity Funds. That could be in-house, through a Fund Administrator or in a Big4 consultancy firm
- Be experienced in managing internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Have excellent technical accounting knowledge and skills
