A leading London based global alternative asset manager is looking to bring on an experienced fund finance professional to work in their expanding, direct lending and senior debt focused, fund accounting team.

The fund in question has performed exceptionally well over the past two decades, generating exceptional returns. It is well-renowned as an outstanding place to gain experience - the roles are complex and offer steep learning curves to those wishing to push their career forwards.

This position involves financial reporting for a designated set of funds and overseeing the offshore administrators. You will co-ordinate and interact with several stakeholders both internally and externally, such as fund administrators, auditors, offshore Boards of Directors and investors.

Specifically your duties will include;

  • Fund Accounting & Investor Reporting
    • Respond to and develop processes/procedures around external investor queries and internal investor relations demands
    • Work closely with the administrators to ensure financial reporting is accurate and timely and reflects all relevant insight from the wider team
    • Understand the complexity of the fund structures in order to understand and to ensure the fund flows reflect the tax planning in the structure
    • Perform ongoing and ad hoc analysis of Fund performance, calculation of Fund IRR's and other Fund performance measures
    • Support the implementation of new in-house systems and procedures
  • Projects
    • There will also be opportunity to assist in fund raising efforts for new fund strategies

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA) with at least 5 years of post-qualified experience within fund accounting, preferably with debt fund experience. Strong attention to detail, work ethic and the ability to be a team player are all key.

Remuneration will be in the region of £75,000 - £90,000 with discretionary bonus and other excellent benefits.
